Fitz & Walloughs Get It in the End!
Nurses!
It's opening day of the New York International Fringe Festival, and as some of you know this classy blogging bitch, Miss Ginger Snaps, is also New York Playwright Mister Paul Hagen, who has written one of the gayest shows ever and it opens Monday at the Fringe! It's called "Fitz & Walloughs Get It in the End!"
You can hear clips of the songs from the show and see pics of Fitz & Walloughs at www.fitzandwalloughs.com.
You can listen to Martin Denton, the head honcho at Nytheatre.com, interview Paul and a VERY in-character Fitz at www.nytheatre.com/nytheatre/pcast.htm and click on #20!
FringeNYC 2006: See "Fitz & Walloughs Get It in the End!"
Written by Paul Hagen
Starring Micah Bucey and Drew Edwards
Directed by Paul Mazza
WHAT:
"Fitz and Walloughs Get it in the End!" brings you the final concert of Narcissist/Manslut/Lyricist Fyodr Fitz (the explosive Micah Bucey) and Alchoholic/Depressive/Composer Constantine Walloughs (the fantastic Drew Edwards) on the last night of their career writing and performing songs about Fitz's many, many unfortunately murdered gay lovers. It is, of course, a comedy.
From catchy pop songs about murder to hilarious tales of athletic sex to multimedia images that can only be described as unsuitable for children, "Fitz & Walloughs" has something for everyone! Fans of our 2004 FringeNYC extravaganza "The Only Thing Straight Is My Jacket," and works like "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," "Kiki & Herb," VH1's "Behind the Music," Patrick Dennis' "Little Me" will find plenty to love about "Fitz & Walloughs Get it in the End!" It's a homo-musical spectacular!

Oh, my lovelies!
The Fringe Festival run of "Fitz and Walloughs Get It In The End!" has unfortunately been cancelled.
Fitz's right lung collapsed at the tech rehearsal, and he needs about a month to recover. Needless to say, since he knows how much the world MUST see his final performance, there will be a new production of it mounted as soon as he can straddle it.
Keep the faith!
